Office: Harlow
Date Required: September 08
Assistant solicitor required to handle a varied caseload of clinical negligence files.
We require a candidate experienced enough to work autonomously but with the support of senior staff.
The role will include developing a clinical negligence caseload – the candidate will probably have some files to start with but is likely to be required to predominantly build up a caseload from new enquiries.
The candidate will be required to assist the department in risk assessing cases, promoting and marketing the department, keep up with CPD points and training, be enthusiastic and contribute to the department in terms of building up a successful caseload, complying with time and cost targets and marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with a good degree (2:1 or above) and 3 to 6 years p.q.e (credit will be given for previous experience handling a Clin Neg caseload.)
They must be computer literate, ideally with previous experience of digital dictation and time recording systems. Typing skills an advantage but not essential.
Salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and previous experience.
